Agent Installation Failure Target Account Name Incorrect

Problem

When you try to install an agent using the Scope of Management (SoM) and the installation fails with the error message - target account name incorrect

Cause

When a computer is imaged and copied in a different computer, you will find two computers with the same account name. Since there are two computers with the same name, the targeted computer cannot be identified by the Endpoint Central Agent and gives the error messge target account name incorrect

Resolution

Renaming the computer will solve the problem.
