# To check whether a shutdown task with given name already exists

Check if a power operation task with the same name is already created by the same technician.

- **taskID** (`string`, Optional): ID of the existing task to exclude from the duplicate check. Pass `-1` when creating a new task.
- **taskName** (`string`, Optional): Name of the power operation task to check for duplicates among tasks owned by the same technician.
