Configuring Mail Server and Encoding

To configure the Mail Server settings for Desktop Central, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Admin tab to open the Admin page.
  2. Click Settings from the Admin Tasksto open the Settings page.
  3. Click the SMTP Settings tab and specify the following:
    1. Enter the SMTP Server host name in the SMTP Server field.
    2. Enter the port in which SMTP Server must be contacted in the Port field.
    3. Enter the administrator mail address in the From Address field.
    4. If authentication is required, enter the User Name and Password in the corresponding fields.
  4. Click Save to complete the configuration.
