Setting Up Software Deployment

To deploy software using Desktop Central MSP, the administrator has to first add the software packages by specifying the location and the installation switches. Only Desktop Central users with administrative privileges can add software packages. Separate packages have to be added for MSI and EXE based software applications. The packages thus added can then be used to deploy the software to the users and computers by defining a Install Software Configuration. You can also specify the folder for Software Repository to store all the Software binaries (MSI / EXE).
