Configuring the Syslog Service on pfSense devices

    1. Login to the pfSense device.
    2. Navigate to Status > System Logs > Settings.
    3. Enable Remote Logging.
    4. Choose BSD (RFC 3164, default) as the Log Message Format.
    5. Specify the IP address and Port of the EventLog Analyzer server.
    6. Check all the Remote Syslog Content.
    7. Click Save.
