Enhancements

Device Enrollment

Enhancements

  1. Enrollment methods such as Apple Configurator 2.2. for iOS/iPadOS devices, QR Code enrollment for Android devices and ICD enrollment for Windows devices have been introduced. 
  2. Android NFC enrollment is now enhanced to support changing of app distribution source 
  3. MDM now supports device enrollment even after expiry of AD credentials. 
  4. Details of the administrator who initiated the enrollment request, can now be viewed in MDM. 
  5. Usage of platform-specific enrollment requests in other platform devices, has been handled. 
  6. Modifying the authentication type for pending enrollment requests by changing the authentication mode, is now supported in MDM 
  7. Windows Phone agent now supports enrollment of Windows 10 Mobile running Redstone build. 
  8. You can sync MDM with Active Directory or Azure AD to update user details such as e-mail etc., automatically, enable auto-suggestions from Active Directory and use dynamic variables for AD user properties in enrollment mails and profiles.
  9. MDM now supports automated user assignment and skipping the Setup Wizard screens on device activation, in ABM. 
  10. Administrators can now restrict Self-Enrollment to specific AD groups in an organization.

Bug fixes

  1. Issues in uploading VPP token in certain language versions of MDM have been fixed.

  3. Issues in displaying the latest version of the profile on the dedicated profile view, have been fixed
  4. Issues in not displaying the saved details of an Android or Windows Exchange profile have been fixed

Inventory Management

Enhancements

  1. Geo-Tracking in MDM has been enhanced to support both Google Maps and ZOHO Maps. 
  2. Windows 10 devices can be located, even without installing the MDM app in the devices. 
  3. Tracking and securing lost devices, using Lost Mode has been introduced. 
  4. Lost Mode has been enhanced to support additional features such as displaying custom message and providing call functionality in the lock screen etc., in Android devices.
  5. Location accuracy has been enhanced in Android devices, to view the device location near real-time in the MDM Server. 
  6. MDM now supports remote restarting of Windows 10 devices. 
  7. Introducing Location History, to view and store locations traversed by the device over a specified time period. 
  8. Introducing Remote Control for Android devices and remote viewing for iOS devices, to identify and troubleshoot issues real time over-the-air 
  9. Remote Control has now been enhanced with additional real-time status updates, shown while initializing remote session. 
  10. Scheduled reports now supports new criteria filters 'Before N days' and 'Last N days'. This is usefult for reports such as the Inactive Device reports etc.

  6. Issues that prompted for location permission multiple times on Mac devices, have been fixed.
  7. You can now schedule App by devices report to get details of the apps installed in specific devices.
