iOS Apple Intelligence

The Apple Intelligence Settings profile allows administrators to manage the availability and usage of Apple Intelligence features on managed iOS devices. It enables organizations to control AI-powered capabilities such as writing assistance, image generation, transcription, summaries, Genmoji creation, and on-device processing to align with organizational security and compliance requirements.

Profile Description

Access to Image Playground: Allows or restricts users from creating AI-generated images using the Image Playground feature.

Usage of Writing Tools: Allows or restricts the use of Apple Intelligence writing tools for rewriting, proofreading, summarizing, and composing text.

System-generated Text in User's Handwriting: Allows or restricts Apple Intelligence from generating text that appears in the user's handwriting style.

Usage of Image Wand: Allows or restricts the use of Image Wand to create or enhance images from sketches or drawings.

Genmoji Creation: Allows or restricts users from creating custom AI-generated Genmoji.

Mail Summary: Allows or restricts Apple Intelligence from generating summaries of email messages in the Mail app.

Mail Smart Reply: Allows or restricts AI-generated Smart Reply suggestions in the Mail app.

Allow Transcription: Allows or restricts transcription of supported audio recordings into text using Apple Intelligence.

Notes Transcription Summary: Allows or restricts the generation of summaries for transcribed audio recordings in the Notes app.

Safari Web Page Summary: Allows or restricts Apple Intelligence from generating summaries of web pages viewed in Safari.

Visual Intelligence Summary: Allows or restricts AI-generated summaries and contextual information provided through Visual Intelligence.

Apple Intelligence Report: Allows or restricts the generation of Apple Intelligence reports and insights where supported.

Process Dictation on Device: Allows or restricts dictation processing to occur entirely on the device, without cloud processing.

Process Translation on Device: Allows or restricts language translation to be processed entirely on the device, improving privacy and reducing cloud dependency.
