# iOS DDM Safari Settings

The Safari Settings profile allows administrators to configure Safari browser behavior on managed iOS devices. It enables organizations to control browser security, privacy, cookies, JavaScript, pop-ups, private browsing, web page summaries, and new tab page behavior to provide a secure and consistent browsing experience.

## Profile Description

**Force Fraudulent Website Warning:** Enables or disables Safari's warning for suspected fraudulent or phishing websites.

**JavaScript:** Allows or restricts the execution of JavaScript in Safari web pages.

**Pop-ups:** Allows or blocks pop-up windows in Safari.

**Cookies:** Controls how Safari accepts cookies. You can allow cookies from **Always**, **Visited Websites**, or **Never**.

**Private Browsing:** Allows or restricts the use of Private Browsing mode in Safari.

**History Clearing:** Allows or restricts users from clearing their Safari browsing history and website data.

**Safari Web Page Summary:** Allows or restricts Apple Intelligence from generating summaries of web pages viewed in Safari.

**New Tab Page Type:** Specifies the content displayed when a new Safari tab is opened. Users can configure the start page to display the default **Start** page, a custom **Home** page, or content provided by a designated **Extension**.
