Restrictions

This page covers tvOS Restrictions in ManageEngine MDM, enabling administrators to configure and enforce device-level controls on managed Apple TV devices. Administrators can allow or restrict device functionality such as modifying the device name, sleep mode, and screen saver, apply advanced security settings including AirPlay access and Remote app pairing, and set content rating limits for movies, TV shows, and apps. The status of each restriction can be verified per device under Inventory → Restrictions.

You can configure various restrictions on the managed devices, as per the requirements of your organization. You can allow or restrict users to modify device name, explicit content, and set advanced security restrictions.

The status of restrictions imposed using MDM for a particular device, is shown under Inventory->Restrictions. When no restrictions are imposed by MDM, by default the status is displayed as Allowed.
