This guide explains iOS Supervised Mode, which gives administrators additional control over iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS devices, including automatic app installation, Kiosk lockdown, web content filtering, and AirDrop restrictions. Devices can be supervised using Apple Configurator or Apple Business Manager (ABM); ABM-supervised devices remain managed even after a factory reset, while Apple Configurator requires a Mac and physical connection but is free and country-independent.

iOS Supervised Mode gives administrator additional control over the devices. Supervising iOS devices provides a multitude of options such as additional restrictions, enhanced profile features and multiple device configurations. iOS Supervised Mode is available in iOS, iPadOS and tvOS. iOS Supervised Mode can be enabled using:
