# App already installed

## Problem

User is trying to install an App and receives the error message "App already installed".

## Cause

Users will get this error message if the same app is already installed by the user. Even if the app installed by the user is the same version or different version, Mobile Device Manager Plus will not be able to install the app again on the mobile device.

## Resolution

Ensure that you inform the user to manually uninstall the previous installation of the app from the device before trying to install it again using Mobile Device Manager Plus.
