**Issues Fixed:**

- General: A Security Control Bypass vulnerability was identified in the Submit Query functionality due to improper query validation. This has now been fixed. (Reported by Fabius Watson)

## Build No 12.8.636 - March 05, 2026

**Issues Fixed:**

- OpManager: From version 12.8.540, interface threshold failure alarms were transitioning between the configured severities, even when the recorded value continued to violate the Critical threshold. This has been fixed now.
- OpManager: From version 12.8.635, an issue in the "Run Program" and "Run System Command" notification profiles caused profile trigger failures. This issue has now been fixed.
- General: Previously, in rare scenarios, the upgrade process was halted due to a false health check failure caused by a case-sensitive comparison of the installation path. This issue has now been fixed.
- General: The APNS certificate for iOS mobile application has been updated as the current APNS certificate will be expired on March 26, 2026.
- OpManager: Previously, an Out of Memory (OOM) issue occurred because BGP polling tasks would accumulate when SNMP responses were delayed. This has now been fixed.
- OpManager: An issue that caused failures during Downtime Schedule edit and delete operations in certain MSSQL database environments due to database constraint conflicts was observed. This issue has now been fixed.
- OpManager: Previously, interface alarm suppression was not working in the Central inventory. This has now been fixed.
- OpManager: Previously, custom fields were not updated during CSV discovery for Switch, UPS, Printer, and Domain Controller device categories. This has now been fixed.
- OpManager: Previously, monitor failure alerts in the Data Collection Manager were triggered before reaching the configured number of consecutive failures due to incorrect failure count increment and reset behavior. This issue has now been fixed.
- OpManager: Previously, the HeatMap widget experienced performance issues due to query processing. This issue has now been fixed.
- Enterprise Edition: During upgrades from builds earlier than `128581`, the upgrade may fail on probe installations using a remote PostgreSQL database if Downtime Schedules were configured before the upgrade.
- General: Previously, in rare scenarios, the upgrade process was halted due to a false health check failure caused by deleted duplicate entries of the Network Packet Sensor in the database. This issue has now been fixed.
- OpUtils: Previously, there was an issue that prevented IP address reservation on the Microsoft DHCP server. This issue has now been fixed.

**Issues Fixed:**

- General: Previously, in certain scenarios, the tray icon was not stopped during the upgrade process, which resulted in upgrade failures. This issue has now been fixed.
- OpManager: Previously, an ID discrepancy issue occurred when a database restore was performed in the Enterprise Edition. This issue has now been fixed.

**New Features**

- OpManager: Introduced 'Remote Collector' - a lightweight agent designed for low-spec machines. It functions as a mini poller for discovering devices and availability monitoring in remote or distributed networks.
- **Proxmox Virtual Environment Monitoring**
  - OpManager: OpManager now supports monitoring the Proxmox Virtual Environment (VE), providing continuous performance insights and deeper visibility into your Proxmox virtual infrastructure.
  - OpManager: OpManager now supports monitoring of Aruba Silver peak SD-WAN, enabling real-time tracking of controllers, tunnels, WAN links, and overall network health.
- **New Stack Switch Device Monitoring**
  - OpManager: Introduced Stack Switch Monitoring support for HPE H3C FlexFabric 5700 Switch series and Allied Telesis stack switches.
  - OpManager: Hardware monitoring support has also been introduced for Allied Telesis Switches.
- OpManager: Introduced new Default Alarm Rules feature, providing a centralized view of internally raised alarms with support for severity customization and the ability to enable or disable specific alarms.
- OpManager Plus: Introduced a new licensing model for the SAM Bundle.
- OpManager: Introduced a Four-Node (DC-DR) Architecture for Windows Failover.
- **Integration with Jira (Cloud) and ilert**
  - General: OpManager integrates with Jira Service Management (Cloud) to streamline IT service management by automatically converting network alerts into issues in Jira.
  - OpManager: OpManager now integrates with ilert, which helps reduce alert noise and improve system reliability through centralized alarm management.
- **Anomaly Dashboard & Anomaly Summary**
  - OpManager: Introduced the 'Anomaly' dashboard in Zia to track and visualize unusual activity or performance spikes in devices.
  - OpManager: A new subtab 'Anomaly Summary' has been added under Alarms to list all the details regarding the anomalies in devices and device groups.
- **New Storage Devices Support**
  - OpManager Storage Monitoring: Introduced support for monitoring Lenovo DS Series devices through REST API.
  - OpManager Storage Monitoring: Monitoring HPE MSA 2040 devices is now supported under HPE MSA device template.
- **Alarms History & Incident Metrics under Advanced Report**
  - OpManager: OpManager now tracks the cycle history of alarms, giving better insights into alarm violations. This can be accessed from Alarms module under Advanced Reports.
  - OpManager: Advanced Reports now include key reliability metrics such as MTTR, MTBF, MTTF, MTTA, and Flap Count, available under the newly added Incident Metrics column group.
  - OpManager: Introduced new dashboard widgets to show key reliability metrics like MTTR, MTBF, MTTF, and MTTA, making it easier to track incident trends.
- OpManager: Introduced **Info severity alarms**, which provide informational notifications without affecting device status.
- NetFlow: The 'Network Packet Sensor' agent has been renamed as 'Remote Collector' with additional capabilities.
- NetFlow: Provision to create Probe specific NetFlow Groups (Device Group, Interface Group, IP Group, and Access Point Group) in OPM EE Central and OPMPlus EE Central. These groups will be automatically synchronized to the respective Probes.
- NetFlow: Provision to assign NetFlow scopes (Device Groups, Interface Groups, IP Groups, and Access Point Groups) during user account creation/updation in OPM EE Central and OPMPlus EE Central.
- OpUtils: Introducing OpUtils’ enhanced DHCP management for Microsoft DHCP servers, simplifying scope and policy control with secure, agentless WinRM communication.
- OpUtils: Introducing OpUtils’ enhanced Microsoft DNS management for smarter zone and record control and optimized name resolution with record scavenging via agentless WinRM communication.
- OpUtils: In the IP Address Manager module, the Cisco Meraki controller has been added under DHCP server.

**Enhancements**

- General: Added NFS support for shared folder in Linux Failover.
- **Discovery Enhancements**
  - OpManager: Added around 1000 new Device Templates to improve classification of devices during Network discovery.
  - OpManager: Additional Printer vendors are now supported, enabling broader discovery and monitoring of new Printer models.
  - OpManager: A new option 'Connected Interface Discovery' under Discovery Settings has been added to enable the discovery of Layer 2 connected interfaces of network devices, enhancing topology mapping and device visibility.
  - OpManager: Access Point (AP) channel information will now be updated during scheduled AP discovery.
- **Custom CLI Device Templates**
  - OpManager now allows adding Custom Device templates using a CLI Identifier in addition to the SNMP Identifier. The CLI Device templates are determined based on the response from CLI commands.
- **Interface Discovery Profile Enhancements**
  - OpManager: A new global option has been introduced in the Interface Discovery Profile allowing interfaces that match specified criteria to be automatically discovered across all discovery methods like Add Device, Network Discovery and Rediscovery.
  - OpManager: New criteria 'Cisco Trunk port' has been introduced in the interface discovery page.
  - OpManager: Discovery rule engine criteria can now be defined using custom fields. This criteria is applicable only to CSV-based discovery and re-run of rules from the Rule Engine page.
  - OpManager: Users can now associate custom fields during interface discovery via the Interface Discovery profile.
  - OpManager: Interface Discovery profile criteria have been enhanced with Advanced Criteria options.
- General: OpManager events and alarms can now be seamlessly forwarded to Splunk and other SIEM tools using Notification Profiles and Templates.
- OpManager: Introduced an option in Notification Profile to ignore notifications from devices or interfaces in selected groups.
- **Few Enhancements in Widgets**
  - OpManager: The Heatmap widget now supports hierarchical group views, allowing users to drill down from parent to child groups.
  - OpManager: Enhanced the Graphical View widget with new filtering capabilities and introduced the Tile widget.
  - OpManager: Interface Group-based filtering has been introduced in alarm-related widgets, allowing users to filter and view alarms specific to selected interface groups.
  - OpManager: Enhanced scalability for Real-Time widgets and resolved a Chrome browser crash issue affecting them.
- **Group Module Enhancements**
  - OpManager: A new 'Map View' option has been introduced for Groups, through which Neighbour device details can now be mapped and viewed. The mapping is generated automatically upon clicking Map View.
  - OpManager: A new column titled Member Availability has been added under:
    - Inventory → Groups
    - Settings → Configuration → Groups
    - All Groups widget  
    to display the average availability of members within each group.
  - OpManager: Users can now enable or disable the propagation of member status to group status for each group individually.
  - OpManager: Henceforth, devices or interfaces will be automatically added to or removed from criteria-based groups whenever their properties are updated.
  - OpManager: Manual selection is now supported in the Interface module of Groups.
  - OpManager: Groups criteria have been enhanced with Advanced Criteria options.
  - OpManager: Introduced support to group IPSLA monitors for improved organization and simplified management of multiple monitors.
  - OpManager: The Interface List page now includes an option to associate or create manual Interface Groups.
  - OpManager: A new option has been introduced in the Device Snapshot page to view the groups associated with the selected device.

**Security Fixes**

- General: Referrer-policy header has been updated to "strict-origin" to enhance security.
- General: Previously, a DOM-based XSS vulnerability was identified due to improper handling of message data in HTML. This issue has now been fixed. (Reported by Daniel Santos)
- OpManager: Anchor tags with target="_blank" now include the rel="noopener noreferrer" attribute to prevent reverse tab-nabbing and improve security.
- OpManager: Previously, a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was identified in the description field of the SNMP Trap Processor module. This issue has now been fixed. (Reported by tuannq x ngockhanhc311)

**Issues Fixed**

- OpManager: Group-related anomalies were not displayed correctly when a group of groups contained an interface group. This issue has now been fixed.
- OpManager: Previously, Disk count discrepancies found in Disks tab of EqualLogic Storage Device. This issue has been fixed now.
- General: Previously, upgrades from base version 12.8.586 or higher were blocked at the precheck phase due to a scheduler-initiated Database Analyzer operation in certain scenarios. This issue has now been fixed.
- General: Previously, when embedding Widget or NOC views, users faced login failures when trying to access the Device Snapshot page. This has been fixed now.
- General: There was an issue in fetching the Groups under Notification profile → Log a ticket for SDP MSP versions over 14850, 14940 and above as V1 API is deprecated. This issue has been fixed now by supporting the V3 API. Please refer to the compatibility document.
- General: Previously, configuring the Microsoft Teams integration and sending messages failed due to internal changes in the OAuthProvider framework from OpManager version `128624`. This issue has now been resolved.
- General: Previously, in certain cases, after upgrading to version `128607` or above, file synchronization failed in failover services, resulting in secondary service startup failure. This issue has now been fixed.
- General: Previously, ServiceNow could not communicate with OpManager, even when the MID Server was configured in OpManager, for ServiceNow versions “Yokohama” and above due to a deprecated component in ServiceNow. This issue has now been resolved.
- General: Previously, in versions 12.8.627 and above, the secondary server in Failover setups could not take over when a mail server was configured. This issue has been fixed.
- General: Previously, in version 12.8.628 there was an issue with loading subnet details in OpManager Central, OpManager Plus Central, and OpManager MSP Central. This issue has now been fixed.
- General: Previously, in version 12.8.582, the row background color was missing for some rows in IP Address Manager and Switch Port Mapper. This issue has now been fixed.
- General: Previously, in version 12.8.455, there was an issue with creating custom columns in IP Address Manager or Switch Port Mapper caused issues during backup and restore.
- General: Previously, there was a UI issue with the Add Switch functionality, where the display of the scan option appeared as none. This issue has now been resolved.
- General: Previously, the group associated the Notification Profile name w.r.t the selected device was not listed in the Notification Profile Filters of the Notification Triggered Report. This issue has now been resolved.
- General: From version `128581`, users experienced login failures after updating the password policy due to missing payload encryption until the next service restart. This issue has now been resolved.
- General: Previously in MSSQL installations, if the auth providers returned a larger access token for authentication, the system failed to save the OAuth Provider configurations. This issue has now been fixed.
- General: Previously, in the Old model failover setups, there was a rare case where, if the database got disconnected, the Standby service would take over even though the Primary service was still active. It has been fixed now.
- General: Previously, from version `128540`, while performing test action for Freshdesk, issues occurred when company field is enabled. This issue is now resolved.
- General: The password input field size has been increased for the OpManager–ServiceNow integration.
- General: From version 12.8.583, the Reset TOTP Secret icon was not displayed on the User Management page for editions other than Enterprise. This issue has been fixed now.
- OpManager: XSS vulnerability detected in the Heatmap widget upon enabling 'Show label' has been fixed now. (Reported by Daniel Santos)
- OpManager: Special characters in device or interface display names are automatically sanitized and replaced with a hyphen (-) to prevent vulnerability issues.
