BGPPL has vast distributed infrastructure comprised of a fleet of Windows servers. Further, the company employs different Fortinet firewalls and SD-WAN devices and utilizes a combination of technologies from Oracle, like Oracle Database and Oracle Cloud DR. Since its server and network infrastructure is distributed across seven locations in India, achieving consistent, centralized monitoring was a huge challenge for BGPPL, leading to several performance problems not getting identified and resolved on time.
