# How does ReRun work?

ReRun button re-applies the rule for the set of already discovered devices, or it applies the same set of rules to the devices that were newly discovered and added. To re-run a rule, perform the following steps:

1. Select the rule that you want to re-run.
2. Click on the **Re-run** button.
3. Select the devices on which you want to execute the rule.
4. Click **Run**.
