# Forwarding Traps

Configure OpManager to notify users through an SNMP trap when a specific fault occurs.

Steps to forward Traps:

1. Go to **Settings** → **Monitoring** → **SNMP Trap Processors** → **Forward Trap**.
2. Provide the **Name/IP address** of the host to which notifications have to be sent.
3. Provide the trap listening **port** number of the host to which notifications have to be sent.
4. Click **Save.**

**Note:** This feature is supported only for SNMP versions v1, v2, and v2c.
