Select the monitor type, the number of devices that need to be monitored using the protocol, and the monitoring interval ( in minutes ) .
Click on Add Row to specify multiple protocols along with the number of devices and monitoring intervals for each protocol.
The Latency configuration specifies the time taken for a single poll.
Once you have specifed the protocols along with the number of devices and monitoring intervals, click on Calculate.
The calculator will display the threads that OpManager needs to monitor the specified devices along with the thread count.
The calculator will also suggest the most efficient probe configuration ( Number of Probes, Number of Processors, RAM & CPU ) to efficiently monitor the devices.
