The TL provider can be installed on any server running Microsoft Windows 2000 / Windows 2003 / Windows XP / Windows Professional. This server must have a path through the SAN to the TL devices that will be managed. Also the TL Provider installed server must be pingable from the server where OpManager is installed. HP SMI-S TL Provider is downloadable from the HP site along with the installation details: [http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?pnameOID=441994&locale=en_US&taskId=135&prodSeriesId=438305&prodTypeId=12169](http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?pnameOID=441994&locale=en_US&taskId=135&prodSeriesId=438305&prodTypeId=12169) Start the TL Provider service **hp StorageWorks SMI-S CIMServer** from the Windows services menu.
