# Generate Auth-code for OpManager-Slack Integration

## OpManager - Slack Installation

**Note:** The Slack app integration has been updated to API version 2, to enhance control over Slack's Granulated Permissions. If you currently use a version of OpManager below 12.5.340, kindly [contact our support team](mailto:support@opmanager.com) to upgrade to the latest OpManager build and start using this integration.

### Please copy and paste the Auth-code given below in the Slack integration page of your OpManager server.

### To activate the Slack integration:

- Log in to OpManager.
- Go to **Settings → General Settings → Third Party Integrations** and click on the Slack tab.
- Paste the copied Auth-code in the text box provided.
- Click on **Save** to successfully integrate Slack with OpManager.
