# Patch Management Metrics

Thank you for deploying Patch Manager Plus from an AWS instance.

To get started,

1. Take a remote connection to your AWS instance.
2. Start the Patch Manager Plus Server by double-clicking the Patch Manager Plus shortcut from the desktop.
3. After starting, you can access the Patch Manager Plus web console using the public DNS address:  
   `http://<public DNS address/public IP>:6020`

Please note that the "Public DNS Address" changes when the instance is stopped or terminated. As Patch Manager Plus works on an agent-server model, it is recommended to use an Elastic IP Address to ensure uninterrupted agent-server communication.
