Linux Dependency Patch Download Failure

Problem

You are trying to download dependency Linux patches. However, Patch download fails with error message: "Unable to download Linux dependency packages" or "Linux Dependency patch download has failed".

Cause

The possible reasons could be:

• Performing the download of dependency packages directly after product installation.
• Performing the download of dependency packages when the Patch DB is not up-to-date.
• Download of dependency packages is blocked when a compromised agent sends a malicious URL for downloading dependency packages.

Resolution

• Perform patch DB sync.
