Privacy Settings

Access Manager Plus (AMP) provides privacy settings to enhance privacy within the product. Privacy settings help you customize and control the inclusion of personally identifiable information (PII) in AMP. These settings are useful when you want to mask certain information in the product. This information can be about a user such as name, phone number, location, domain name etc or it can also be about a connection present in AMP such as the DNS name, department, URL, secondary domain controller name etc.

Follow the below steps to choose the elements that you would like to mask:

  1. Navigate to Admin >> Server Settings >> Privacy Settings
  2. You will find two categories - Users and Connections, with all their respective field data listed under Personal Data column.
  3. Select the checkbox under Enable Privacy column for all the data you want to be masked in the product. For example, when the DNS field is masked, it will be covered by a dummy text like 'DNS Name' , the field can be viewed by clicking the 'view' icon located beside it.
  4. Once you have made the necessary choices, click Save. The changes will be applied to all connections and users present in AMP.
