    Privileges required for EMC server auditing

    For effective EMC CIFS server auditing with ADAudit Plus, the user configured on the Domain Settings page of ADAudit Plus (found in the top-right corner of the console and referred to below as the Domain Settings user) must either be an admin account or be provided with the minimum privileges listed below.

    1. Read and Write privileges to set the SACL automatically in the shares that are to be audited.
    2. Read privileges on the EMC audit log share path. Refer to this help page for steps to update the share path.
    3. Read and Write privileges for the EMC Registry Editor.
