Event ID 567 – Object Access Attempt

Description There was an attempt to access an object.

The actual permissions exercised by a user or program on an object following its opening are logged under event ID 567. This event logs if the access granted was really used, while 560 logs the obtaining of such permissions. The two can be related to one another by use of the handle ID. This event only logs the first time that the granted permission was used.

This log data provides the following information:

  • Object Server
  • Handle ID
  • Object Type
  • Process ID
  • Image File Name
  • Accesses
  • Access Mask
