When there are changes in the Windows Firewall profile, such as standard to domain or vice versa, event ID 860 is logged. This log data provides information about which profile is currently active, standard or domain.
Why does event ID 860 need to be monitored?
All changes with regards to Windows Firewall need to be monitored since unplanned or unauthorized changes need immediate investigation. It could be a sign of malicious activity.
