Licensing ADManager Plus

ADManager Plus is available in four different editions: Standard, Professional, Evaluation, and Free Edition.

• Standard Edition: This edition offers features such as Active Directory (AD) management and reporting, delegation, and more.
• Professional Edition: This edition offers all the features available in the Standard Edition and other capabilities like workflow, automation, and AD Migration.
• Evaluation Edition: This edition offers a fully-fuctional 30-day free trial of the Professional edition. Try it here. After the 30-day evaluation period, the Evaluation Edition is automatically converted to the Free Edition.
• Free Edition: This edition offers all the features available in the Standard Edition, but is restricted to 100 domain objects.

In addition to the features in these editions, ADManager Plus also offers two add-ons to enhance your IGA game.

• Backup and Recovery add-on: This add-on offers backup and restoration capabilities for objects in AD, Entra ID, and Google Workspace environments. The pricing listed below applies to both Standard Edition and Professional Edition licenses.

  Pricing is calculated based on the number of user objects in the respective environment:

  • Active Directory: Number of enabled user objects in the domain
  • Microsoft Entra ID: Number of user objects in your Microsoft Entra ID tenant
  • Google Workspace: Number of Google Workspace users
• Governance, Risk and Compliance add-on: This add-on offers capabilities such as risk assessment, risk exposure management, and access certification to securely govern and manage identities in AD.

Steps to apply license in ADManager Plus

1. Log in to ADManager Plus.
2. Click License located in the top-right corner.
3. A pop up will then display the details of your current license, product version, and more.
4. In the Enter License File field, click Browse button to browse and locate the license file.
5. Click Upgrade to apply the license.

Steps to upgrade from Evaluation Edition or Free Edition to the Standard or Professional Edition

1. Click the License link available in the top right corner of the ADManager Plus client. This opens the license details of the product.
2. Click the Upgrade Now link and select the license file received from ZOHO Corp using the Browse button.
3. Click Upgrade button to upgrade from Trial or Free Edition to Standard or Professional Edition.

Restrictions in Free Edition

The following are the restrictions in the Free Edition:

1. Only the default domain can be managed.
2. Can create/modify up to 100 Active Directory user objects for one domain.
3. Can generate and view all reports for a maximum of 100 Active Directory objects for one domain.
