Modify Single Dynamic Distribution Group

Managing dynamic distribution groups doesn’t have to be challenging. With ADManager Plus, you can easily modify an existing group and tailor its attributes to suit your needs. Rather than updating each setting individually, you can make all the necessary changes in one streamlined process, saving time and simplifying group management.

Steps to modify a single dynamic distribution group

1. Log in to ADManager Plus.
2. Navigate to Management > Group Management > Dynamic Distribution Group Management > Modify Single Dynamic Distribution Group.
3. From the Select Domain drop-down menu, select the domain in which you want to modify the dynamic distribution group.
4. Click Modify Group to edit the properties of the selected group.
5. Make the required changes to the dynamic distribution group by navigating through the General, Filter, and Exchange tabs.
   • General:
     • You can modify general attributes such as Name, Description, Email, Container, and Manager.
   • Filter:
     • In the Filters section, you can modify the container from which group members are selected and adjust the object types to include.
     • In the Conditions section, you can add, remove, or modify conditions based on which the members of this group must be selected. Click the + icon to add additional conditions as needed.
   • Exchange:
     • You can modify Exchange-specific attributes, such as Alias, Associated Administrative Group, Additional Email Addresses, Delivery Restrictions, and fields specific to Exchange 2013/2016/2019.
6. After making the necessary modifications, click Preview to review the changes.
7. Click Update Group to apply and save the updates.
