- **Is Applications Manager an open source tool?**  
  No, ManageEngine Applications Manager is not an open source tool. We do have a free version but it has some limitations when compared to the paid version. For more details about our editions, refer to:

- **Is APM Insight feature in Applications Manager only compatible with Tomcat server?**  
  The APM Insight feature in Applications Manager is compatible with all Java-based applications, .NET applications, and Ruby on Rails applications.

- **What is the agent overhead limit on the system resources?**  
  The agent overhead is limited to 2% of the system resources.

- **How are the applications configured on dashboard?**  
  Once the agent is plugged in, applications will show up automatically on the APM Insight dashboard.

- **How to add a new APM Insight monitor for JBoss Server version 6?**

- **Is it possible to run Node.js based web applications using APM Insight?**  
  As of now, APM Insight doesn't support Node.js based applications. It is currently in development and it will be available by the end of Q2 of this year. However, we support a custom type monitor called Script Monitor that you can use to monitor the same.

- **Is it possible to configure APM Insight for backend JAVA application?**  
  Yes, it is possible to configure APM Insight for backend JAVA applications, if the Java applications use JVM version 1.5 or above. For more details, refer to:

- **Is it possible to monitor JBoss 4.3 with APM Insight?**

- **How does licensing work for Applications Manager?**
