# ManageEngine Applications Manager | Demo for creating Monitor Groups and Monitors

To **Create** a new Monitor Group in Applications Manager, click on the **New Monitor Group** link. A Monitor Group is particularly useful for logically grouping the resources used by a business application. Our demo will create a Banking Application Monitor Group, which consists of the resources (individual Monitors) used by the Banking Application.
