# Web Client

Applications Manager provides an easy-to-use Web Client which allows you to access monitored data and perform administrative operations. All tasks are web-based.

Different views are available to monitor performance of your IT resources - Business Application, Monitor Templates, Alarms, and Reports. A separate view is provided for administrative operations which can be accessed only by administrators. It simplifies IT administrative tasks and is effortless to work with.

It comes with a layout which makes your interaction with the UI all the more interesting.

**New Plasma View**: The plasma view enables you to have a snapshot of what is happening with the monitors, at one glance. The view can be put up on a plasma screen, and you can have a look even when you are not in front of the monitor.

Customizable UI (includes **Drag and Drop** option) is available for home tab and Plasma View.

[Custom Dashboards](https://www.manageengine.com/products/applications_manager/custom-dashboards.html) allow customers to create custom views. Performance metrics that are important from company point of view can be clubbed together to present a custom dashboard.
