# Software Installation - How To ## How to deploy Internet Explorer using Endpoint Central? ### Description This document provides you the steps required to deploy Internet Explorer to multiple computers using Endpoint Central. ### Steps To deploy Internet Explorer, you need to create two configurations. The first configuration is to deploy the prerequisites and to restart the computer. The second configuration will be to deploy the Internet Explorer browser. Click on **Software Deployment** tab. 2. Under **Actions**, click **Create Package**. 4. Select the package that you have added. 5. Click **Install/Uninstall Software**. 6. Enter a name and description for the configuration. 7. Define the package settings. 8. Configure the deployment settings, ensure that you specify the option to **Force Reboot** the computers after deployment. 9. Choose the target computers. 10. Specify the schedule options, if required. 11. Click **Deploy**. You have successfully deployed the configuration to install the prerequisites for installing Internet Explorer. **Note:** Internet Explorer can be installed only after installing the prerequisites and the system needs to be rebooted. Ensure that the deployment status is executed successfully before initiating the deployment of Internet Explorer. ### Create a configuration to deploy Internet Explorer ### Deploy to target computers 1. Click on **Software Deployment** tab. 2.
