# Unable to download intermediate certificate automatically ## Problem You have uploaded an SSL certificate containing LDAP URL for intermediate certificate. ## Cause You might have encountered an error message: - **Unable to download intermediate certificate automatically.** Since the intermediate certificate is available as an LDAP URL, you will not be able to upload it automatically. ## Resolution Follow the steps below to resolve the issue, i.e., download the intermediate certificate successfully from the LDAP URL: 1. Download the [Windows ADExplorer](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/adexplorer) and run the ADExplorer.exe. 2. Using the navigation pane on the left, navigate to the LDAP URL path. You will find the intermediate certificate file in the right pane. 5. Download the intermediate certificate. 6. Select the Manual option and upload the downloaded intermediate certificate.
