File used by another Process

You are trying install patches for any of these products Libreoffice, Notepad++, or CCleaner and you receive an error message "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process".

This could happen if any of the above mentioned applications were currently in use, while Desktop Central was trying to install the patches.

Desktop Central uses a pre-request handler to identify if any of the above mentioned applications are in use, while the patch deployment is attempted, then the patches will be deployed during the next refresh interval, or during the next system start up.

Applies to: Patch Deployment, Patch Configuration, Patch Download
