# Deploying Operating Systems via Templates **Last Updated On**: 10 Jul 2026 **2 minutes read** You can also perform deployment directly after creating deployment templates. You have to manually boot the machines by creating WinPE media and deploy image by following the steps given below, 1. Open **Boot mode set up** to boot the machine in WinPE from [PXE](https://www.manageengine.com/products/os-deployer/pxe-preboot-execution-environment.html) or USB or ISO. **Note** For remote office deployments, ensure to use remote office bootable media. 2. Refer this [document](https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/help/bootable-media/creating-winpe-media.html) to create and boot the computer using bootable media. 3. Once the machine is booted, you will be able to view Endpoint Central **OS Deployment wizard**. Specify Endpoint Central Admin Credential to login. 4. Select **Deploy Image** to perform offline deployment. 5. Now, you will be able to view the list of created **deployment templates**. Select **Deploy** button at the required deployment template. If you want to know the details of the deployment template, double click on the template and view the deployment details like image, disk partitions and post deployment activities. If needed you can also start deployment from this details view. Offline deployment will get successfully initiated now. Boot the computer using bootable media and initiate deployment. You can view the deployment status under the **Deployment status** tab. Visit Community [Ask questions and get answers](https://pitstop.manageengine.com/portal/en/community/endpoint-central)
