Alert Variables
Overview
Alert condition variables are device metrics and states used to define when an alert profile should generate an alert.
Use this reference to choose the correct aggregation, comparator, accepted value, and evaluation window for each condition variable.
Alert Condition Variables
The variables below are available when defining alert-profile conditions. The available fields depend on the selected variable.
Actual Value and Average
- Actual Value evaluates the most recently collected value available at the monitoring cycle.
- Average evaluates the average value collected over the configured evaluation window. The evaluation-window field applies only when Average is selected.
