# Hardware Reports

## Computers by OS

This report provides the list of computers categorized by their Operating System. You can also get detailed information on the same by navigating to **Computers** view under **Inventory** page. Clicking a specific computer from the report provides more detailed information about the hardware and software details along with their usage metrics. From the computer details view, you can also establish a [remote connection](https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/help/tools/remote_desktop_sharing.html) to the computer by clicking the Connect button.

To view the report, select the **Inventory** tab and choose the **Computers by OS** link available under Hardware Reports category by hovering the mouse over the **Inventory Reports**.

## Computers by Manufacturer

This report provides the list of computers categorized by their manufacturer. You can also get detailed information on the same by navigating to **Computers** view under **Inventory** page. Clicking a specific computer from the report provides more detailed information about the hardware and software details along with their usage metrics. From the computer details view, you can also establish a remote connection to the computer by clicking the Connect button.

To view the report, select the **Inventory** tab and choose the **Computers by Manufacturer** link available under Hardware Reports category by hovering the mouse over the **Inventory Reports**.

## Computers by Memory

This report provides the list of computers categorized by their memory. You can also get detailed information on the same by navigating to **Computers** view under **Inventory** page. Clicking a specific computer from the report provides more detailed information about the hardware and software details along with their usage metrics. From the computer details view, you can also establish a remote connection to the computer by clicking the Connect button.

To view the report, select the **Inventory** tab and choose the **Computers by Memory** link available under Hardware Reports category by hovering the mouse over the **Inventory Reports**.

## Computers by Age

This report provides the list of computers categorized by their age. You can also get detailed information on the same by navigating to **Computers** view under **Inventory** page. Clicking a specific computer from the report provides more detailed information about the hardware and software details along with their usage metrics. From the computer details view, you can also establish a remote connection to the computer by clicking the Connect button.

To view the report, select the **Inventory** tab and choose the **Computers by Age** link available under Hardware Reports category by hovering the mouse over the **Inventory Reports**.

## Computers by Device Type

Provides the details of the computers based on their type like Laptop, Portable, Desktop, etc. You can also get detailed information on the same by navigating to **Computers** view under **Inventory** page. Clicking a specific computer from the report provides more detailed information about the hardware and software details along with their usage metrics. From the computer details view, you can also establish a remote connection to the computer by clicking the Connect button.

To view the report, select the **Inventory** tab and choose the **Computers by Device Type** link available under Hardware Reports category by hovering the mouse over the **Inventory Reports**.

## Computer by Disk Usage

Provides the details of the computers along with their total and free hard disk space. You can also get detailed information on the same by navigating to **Computers** view under **Inventory** page. Clicking a specific computer from the report provides more detailed information about the details of the software and [hardware inventory](https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/hardware-inventory.html) along with their usage metrics. From the computer details view, you can also establish a remote connection to the computer by clicking the Connect button.

To view the report, select the **Inventory** tab and choose the **Computer by Disk Usage** link available under Hardware Reports category by hovering the mouse over the **Inventory Reports**.

## Mapped Logical Disks

Administrators can use this report to identify the logical disks that are mapped to a particular computer. This report can also be exported in .pdf, .xls, and .csv format. With this report, administrators can restrict the mapped logical disks, if required. This ensures that the corporate data is secure. To view the report, navigate to **Inventory → Inventory Reports → Mapped Logical Disks**.

You can view the list of computers and the details of the drives that are mapped to them. This report also specifies the details of the users who use the report, available free space on the disk, etc. Select the computer and navigate to the detailed view to see the report. Clicking a computer account from the report displays the complete information of that account.

## Windows 11 Readiness

This report enumerates the managed devices that are not compatible for a Windows 11 upgrade and those that are compatible for a Windows 11 upgrade. Administrators can analyze the cause for the incompatibility and resolve the issue if there is a need for a Windows 11 upgrade.

To access the report, navigate to **Inventory → Inventory Reports → Hardware Reports → Windows 11 Readiness**.
