Troubleshoot a Redhat Certificate upload connectivity error

Problems

The patch scan or deployment failed with the message The Linux package manager files are unavailable due to invalid Red Hat certificates. Please go to the Red Hat Linux settings page to review the error message.

The Red Hat Linux settings for certificate upload are encountering issues with the following messages:

• Certificate has been uploaded, and the validation process is in-progress.
• Uploaded certificate is not valid due to checksum mismatch; a valid certificate will be uploaded from other agents.
• Uploaded certificate is not valid due to failure in downloading packages; a valid certificate will be uploaded from other agents.

Cause

• Unable to establish connectivity with cdn.redhat.com.

Resolution

1.Check Connectivity:

- Verify if cdn.redhat.com is accessible from the console.

2.Post-Connectivity Check:

- Once connectivity is restored, wait for 60 minutes. If the status remains unchanged, contact support with server and nominated system agent logs.
