# Add VPP file to install App

## Problem

You have added a new device to an existing group. All the Apps that are distributed to the group will get applied to the newly added device. You get an error message when you try to install one of the paid Apps: **"Add VPP to install App"**.

## Cause

You will get this error message when you do not have sufficient license keys to install the paid App.

## Resolution

You need to purchase additional license keys and add them to the Endpoint Central server to distribute these paid Apps. You can also revoke license keys and redistribute them to users (from devices, if the user has not installed the paid App).

Follow the steps mentioned below to add or revoke a VPP file:

1. Select **MDM** tab and click **App Repository**.
2. Click on the **App** and select **Licenses**.
3. To add a license, click **Add License**, upload the **VPP** file or redemption codes, and click **Save**.
4. To **Revoke** a license, select the device whose license **Installation status** is *Yet to Redeem* and click on the clear VPP Codes button.
