Desktop Central server is not starting

What is the issue?

Your Desktop Central server is not starting.

What is the cause?

If you are installing the Desktop Central server and its build number is below 10.0.678, then your server will not start due to the trial license expiration of EXE files.

How to resolve the issue?

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Download the petinfo.dat file here: Download petinfo.dat
  2. Go to the location where you have installed the Desktop Central EXE file and open the lib folder. For example: C:\ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\lib
  3. Replace the petinfo.dat file with the newly downloaded one.
  4. Start the Desktop Central server.
