# Windows Configurations - How To's ## How do I create custom messages and send them to all the client computers and users in my network? ### Description This document provides you with steps required to create custom messages and send them to all the client computers and users in your network. ### Steps This section comprises steps required to create custom messages and send them to the following: - Client computers - Users *Creating a message to send to client computers* To create a customized message and send it to all the client computers in your network, follow the steps given below: 1. Click the **Configurations** tab 2. In the **Add Configurations** section, click **Configuration** 3. In the **Computer Configurations** section, select **Message Box** 4. Enter a name and description for the configuration 5. Select the type of message 6. Enter the following information: - Title of the window - Content for the message - Timeout seconds - Select one of the following execution options: - **Once**: The message will be displayed only once on the screen. - **During the subsequent 'X' startup**: The message will be displayed when the computer is started. You can specify how many times the message should be displayed. - **At every startup until**: The message will be displayed when the computer is started. You can select the date till which the message should be displayed. - **At every startup**: The message will be displayed when the computer is started. 7. Choose a target 8. Configure the execution settings as required 9. Click **Deploy** 10. You have created a configuration to create a customized message and send it to all the client computers in your network.
