Report Profile

Using Report Profile, you can add new reports, edit existing report profiles, delete old ones, and also enable or disable reports for a specific period of time. Apart from this, you can also schedule Skype for Business reports to be generated and emailed to you at specific intervals.

Adding new reports

To add new Skype for Business reports:

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Navigate to Configuration → Skype for Business → Report Profile.
  3. Click the Add New Report option.
  4. Enter a suitable Report Name.
  5. Select the Category and Type of report from the drop-down.
  6. Choose the Skype Users for whom you would like to generate the report.
  7. Click Save.

Enabling or disabling report profiles

To enable or disable Skype for Business report profiles:

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Navigate to Configuration → Skype for Business → Report Profile.
  3. Select the Category of reports from the drop-down.
  4. In the list that appears, click the icon-enabled icon corresponding to the report you want to disable. If you want to enable a report, click the icon-disabled icon.
  5. Choose Yes to confirm.

Editing report profiles

You can edit the already existing report profiles by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Navigate to Configuration → Skype for Business → Report Profile.
  3. Select the Category of reports from the drop-down.
  4. Click the icon-edit icon corresponding to the profile you want to edit.
  5. Make changes in the edit window that appears, and click on Save.

Deleting report profiles

To delete Skype for Business report profiles:

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Navigate to Configuration → Skype for Business → Report Profile.
  3. Select the Category of reports from the drop-down.
  4. Click the icon-delete icon beside the profiles you want to delete.
  5. Choose Yes to confirm.

Scheduling a report

To schedule a Skype for Business report:

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Navigate to Configuration → Skype for Business → Report Profile.
  3. Select the Category of reports from the drop-down.
  4. Click the Configure option under the Schedule column corresponding to the report.
  5. Select a suitable timing for the schedule to run, and choose the period for report generation.
  6. Enter the path where the report needs to be stored, and also the preferred format for the report.
  7. Select the Email this scheduled report option, and click Save.
