Probable cause Server service may not have necessary permissions or the Exchange database may be corrupted.

Event ID 5000:

The occurrence of this event indicates that the Microsoft Information Store is not reachable. This may be due to various reasons two of which are: insufficient permissions and corrupted database. Exchange Reporter Plus offers solution to overcome and prevent these two main sources of errors.
