# How to deploy images using Zero touch task? **Last Updated On**: 27 Apr 2026 **3 minutes read** ## Description You can also peruse the document which will guide you through the steps involved in deploying an image using Zero touch task. ## Pre-requisites 1. To perform zero-touch deployment, you must create an image of the required machine and customize the image using a [deployment template](https://www.manageengine.com/products/os-deployer/help/deployment-template/customizing-image-deployment.html). 2. Create a bootable media with the necessary drivers. This bootable media will be used to boot the target computers before deployment. 3. Ensure that the target machines are online with an existing OS. 4. Enable Admin$ access on the computers where the image will be deployed. ## Deployment template 1. Select the deployment template using which you have customized the image. Select the remote office under which the target computers are present. 2. Add the target computers. 3. For example, you might have a new joiner in your organization and you want to give a new system to him with a specific OS, you can choose unicast deployment method. In this method, the server will send the OS image to each target computer separately. This method is recommended for deployment up to 5 computers. ### Schedule Deployment You can schedule the time interval for deployment for your convenience. Zero touch task has been created successfully.
