Configuring SAML SSO for Robinpowered
These steps will guide you through setting up the single sign-on functionality between ADSelfService Plus and Robinpowered.
Prerequisite
- Login to ADSelfService Plus as an administrator.
- Navigate to Configuration → Self-Service → Password Sync/Single Sign On → Add Application, and select RobinPowered from the applications displayed.Note: You can also find RobinPowered application that you need from the search bar located in the left pane or the alphabet wise navigation option in the right pane.
- Click IdP details in the top-right corner of the screen.
- In the pop-up that appears, copy the Login URL and download the SSO certificate by clicking on the Download Certificate link.

Robinpowered (Service Provider) configuration steps
- Login to Robinpowered with an administrator’s credentials.
- Navigate to Settings → Integration → SAML 2.0
- Click Edit and select Custom Provider.
- Paste the Login URL, copied in Step 4 of Prerequisite, in SSO SAML URL and Identity Provider Issuer URL.
- Open the downloaded certificate as a text file. Copy and paste the content it in the Public Certificate text field.
- Click Save Configuration.
ADSelfService Plus (Identity Provider) configuration steps
- Now, switch to ADSelfService Plus’ Robinpowered configuration page
- In the Domain Name field, enter the Domain Name of your email address. For example, if you use johndoe@robinpowered.com to log in to Robinpowered, then robinpowered.com is the domain name.
- Enter the Organization name of your Robinpowered account in the Organization KeY field. You can copy the Organization name from your Robinpowered portal.
- In the Name ID Format field, choose the format for the user login attribute value specific to the application.
- Click Add Application
Note: Use Unspecified as the default option if you are unsure about the format of the login attribute value used by the application
Note: For Robinpowered, only SP initiated flow is supported.
