Configuring SAML SSO for 15Five

These steps will guide you through setting up the single sign-on functionality between ADSelfService Plus and 15Five

Prerequisite

  1. Log in to ADSelfService Plus as an administrator.

  2. Navigate to Configuration → Self-service → Password Sync/Single Sign-on.

  3. Search for 15Five and select it.

  4. Click Download SSO Certificate link in the top-right corner of the screen.

  5. In the SSO/SAML Details pop-up that appears, copy the login URL and download the SSO certificate by clicking on the Download Meta file.


15Five (Service Provider) configuration steps

  1. Login to 15Five with an administrator’s credentials.
    (https://<subdomain>.15five.com/saml2/sso/config/)

  2. Navigate to Company Settings.

  3. Choose Single Sign-on under Company Settings.

  4. Open the downloaded Metadata file as a text file. Copy and paste the content it in the SAML single sign-on XML text field under XML Setup.

  5. Clcik Save.

  6. Under Details Setup, enable SAML.

  7. You can save the configuration.

ADSelfService Plus (Identity Provider) configuration steps

  1. Now, switch to ADSelfService Plus’ 15Five configuration page.

  2. In the Domain Name field, enter the domain name of your email address. For example, if you use johndoe@15five.com to log in to 15Five, then 15five.com is the domain name.

  3. Enter the SP Identifier of your 15Five in the SP Identifier field. For Eg. https://<SP_IDENTIFIER>.15five.com

  4. Provide a Description in the respective field.

  5. In the Available Policies field, click on the drop-down box and select the policies for which you wish to enable single sign-on.

  6. Click Save and log out of ADSelfService Plus.

For 15Five, single sign-on is supported for SP and IDP initiated flow.
