Configuring SAML SSO for Workplace

These steps will guide you through setting up the single sign-on functionality between ADSelfService Plus and Workplace.


  1. Log in to ADSelfService Plus as an administrator.

  2. Navigate to Configuration → Self-service → Password Sync/Single Sign-on.

  3. Locate and click on Workplace in the list of applications provided.

  4. Click Download SSO Certificate link in the top-right corner of the screen.

  5. In the pop-up that appears, copy the Login URL and download the SSO certificate by clicking on the Download SSO Certificate button.

WorkPlace (Service Provider) configuration steps

  1. Login to Workplace with an administrator’s credentials.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Company Dashboard.

  3. Select Settings → Authentication Settings from the left pane.

  4. In the SAML Authentication field, select SSO only from the drop-down box.

  5. In both the SAML URL and SAML issuer URI fields, enter the Login URL copied in Step 5 of Prerequisite.

  6. Open the SSO certificate downloaded in Step 5 of Prerequisite and paste its content in the SAML Certificate field.

  7. Copy the value in the ACS (Assertion Consumer Service) URL field.


ADSelfService Plus (Identity Provider) configuration steps

  1. Now, switch to ADSelfService Plus’ WorkPlace configuration page.

  2. In the Domain Name field, enter the domain name of your email address. For example, if you use to log in to Workplcae, then is the domain name.

  3. In the SAML Redirect URL field, enter the value ACS URL Workplace configuration page (Refer Step 7 of WorkPlace Configuration).

  4. Enter a Description for the connection.

  5. In the Available Policies field, select the policies for which you wish to enable single sign-on.

  6. Click Save.
    Your users should now be able to sign in to WorkPlace through ADSelfService Plus.

  7. For Workplace, only SP initiated flow is supported.
