Configuring SAML SSO for StatusHub

These steps will guide you through setting up the single sign-on functionality between ADSelfService Plus and StatusHub.

Prerequisite

  1. Log in to ADSelfService Plus as an administrator.

  2. Navigate to Configuration → Self-service → Password Sync/Single Sign-on.

  3. Locate and click on StatusHub in the list of applications provided.

  4. Click Download SSO Certificate link in the top-right corner of the screen.

  5. In the pop-up that appears, download the meta file by clicking on the Download Metadata file button.


StatusHub (Service Provider) configuration steps

  1. Login to StatusHub portal with an administrator’s credentials.

  2. Navigate to Settings → SAML 2.0.

  3. Click on the Enable toggle button to enable Single sign-on.

  4. Open the meta file downloaded in Step 5 of Prerequisite and paste its content in the “SAML 2.0 IdP metadata in XML format” field.

  5. Click Update.
    Your users should now be able to sign in to StatusHub through ADSelfService Plus.

ADSelfService Plus (Identity Provider) configuration steps

  1. Now, switch to ADSelfService Plus’ StatusHub configuration page.

  2. In the Domain Name field, enter the domain name of your email address. For example, if you use johndoe@thinktodaytech.com to log in to StatusHub, then thinktodaytech.com is the domain name.

  3. In the Account ID field, enter the Account ID of your StatusHub account.

  4. Enter Description for the connection.

  5. In the Available Policies field, select the policies for which you wish to enable single sign-on.

  6. Click Save.
    Your users should now be able to sign in to StatusHub through ADSelfService Plus.

  7. For StatusHub, only IDP initiated flow is supported.
