Edit IT Asset

To edit an IT asset,

1. Navigate to the Assets tab and select the IT Asset type from the left navigation panel.

2. On the selected asset list view, click IT asset name to be edited.

3. Click Edit on the toolbar.

4. Edit the asset details and asset state as needed. You can also associate the asset with another asset, assign/reassign the asset, and configure depreciation.

   • To associate with another asset, you can search for an asset to associate with from the combo box. Type the asset name/asset type in the search bar inside the combo box for faster results.

   • Similarly, you can search for users/departments from the respective combo-box to assign or reassign an asset. 

5. Click Update.

You can also bulk edit asset details from the list view,

1. Select the assets to edit from the list view.

2. Navigate to Actions > Edit from the toolbar.

3. Edit the asset details as needed.

4. Click Update.
