Problem

You are trying to publish the patches to the SCCM server when you get the error: This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms.

Cause

This error occurs when the FIPS mode is enabled in the local policy.

Resolution

In the PCP server installed machine, navigate to:

• Administrative Tools >> Local Security Policy >> Local Policies >> Security Options >> System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing
• Switch the flag to Disabled
