How to download dependency files from patch database?

Description

Patch database update fails with error message - Unable to download dependency files from patchdb.manageengine.com. Ensure that your proxy/firewall/antivirus is not blocking the download.

Steps

Follow the steps given below to resolve this issue:

  1. Reconfigure the proxy server by specifying valid credentials.
  2. Open port 443 to allow the proxy server to communicate.
  3. Add patchdb.manageengine.com to the exception list of your proxy server.
  4. The antivirus that you have installed in your network would hinder the download. Exclude patchdb.manageengine.com from antivirus scan.

Note: Ensure that you allow the usage of .7z, .zip, .xml and .exe files to download the essential files for successful patch scanning.
