## How to clear version history in SharePoint

Clear version history across a site, list, or selected documents in a few steps:

1. Navigate to **Management > Document Management > Clear Version History**.
2. Under **Select Farm/Tenant**, choose your SharePoint farm or tenant.
3. Click **+** in the **Select Object** field and choose the site, list, or documents to clean up.
4. Enter a **Task Name**, and add a description if needed.
5. Under **Versioning Settings**, choose what to remove in **Select Version**:

8. Click **Apply**.
